Closing Time

Closing Time is a nine-minute piece set on twenty dancers.
This dance explores collective consciousness and the concept of “work-life-balance”. Using bodies to explore simple movements on a larger scale, I became witness to emerging patterns. Rhythms because visual; overlapping them became a game. Breaking these visual rhythms was what I enjoyed the most.

Process
Using footage and costumes from rehearsals, I created an instillation to better undertsand these questions:
What are the ways I can archive physical movements?
How do bodies remember sensations of shared touch differently?
How can a memory keep changing itself?
